Even during my last ever 3rd hour English class,

I’m still just waiting to GTFO. Some things never change. :)

And you can bet your ass that I will not be bringing mine into Livecchi’s room today. Ha!

Kenya and Natalie,

Will you ask box me your replies? They’re cut off and I’d really like to read them. :)

I would seriously consider getting this as a tattoo. I know it’s been done and it might seem stupid, but it symbolizes a lot for me. It would just say “remember who you are” though, like the movie. Shit, I love The Lion King. Watching it as a young adult changes the meaning a lot. I don’t ever want to be one of those people who forgets who they are, or the kind of person they’re trying to be.

Mother’s Day is my least favorite day of the year.

Vent session about my family dynamic. Mostly catharsis for me. Read or don’t.

People are so weird.

Luckily I’m past giving a fuck.

I really miss some of my old friends. Like, even ones that I hardly speak to or even acknowledge anymore. Having to leave them forever soon still stings a little.

I don’t know what the hell is going on with some people in my life, but it’s on them now. Not my business, not my problem, not my life anymore.

I love so many people and I’m so happy. High school is gonna end right.

I found this man on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. He was leaning heavily on his cane, looking down, wearing a grimaced face. I felt bad for him, so I smiled and waved when I walked past. His face changed completely. He lit up, smiled wide, and gave me a cheery greeting. There was nothing forced about it. He seemed like a man who went through life looking for the smallest excuses to be happy.I walked 50 feet down the sidewalk, turned around, and walked back to him. “I want to take your photo,” I told him, “because of how big you smiled when I walked by.”He said: “Well I saw someone smiling at me who I didn’t even know. So I thought: ‘By God! I Better do something!’”

YES. it is so easy to just be nice to other people. it’s actually really fun to me, just seeing how different strangers react to kindness. it’s kind of a new hobby of mine.
